ADMISSION-

The academic session of the College, which is from June to May, has terms namely (i) June to December and (ii) Junury to May. Admission to the college starts after the publication of the Board/university examination results and continues till the last date prescribed for such admission The last date for submission of application for admission to various classes is usually the 15th day from the date of publication of the result of the Council/ examination.

Admission is purely on merit, subject to good conduct, however, the admission to the college cannot be claimed as a matter of right and may be the Principal without disclosing the reasons thereof.

How to apply:

A candidate should submit the duly filled in prescribed application from complete in all respect through the website of DHE

Attested true copy/copies of the mark sheet/s of the qualifying Examinations.

Attested true copy/copies of the School/College Leaving Certificate and Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended

Compartmental candidates should submit mark sheets of both the examinations.

The applicant must affix the required postage stamp in the index only and shall write his/her full address clearly in the index and intimation card. They should sumit two sell addressed envelopes.

If the applicant belongs to S.C./S.T. he /she must submit an attested true copy of caste certificate issued by competent authority (namely M.P./M.L.A/Collector/Addi. District Magistrate/Sub-Divisional Officer/Gazatted Local revenue Officer not below the rank of Deputy Collector or Tahasildar of the area). Such certificate must bear the full signature of the applicant duly attested by the issuing authority.

No objection certificate in original form the employer in case the applicant is employed, must be submitted with the application form.

Money receipt in support of the purchase of the admission form must be submitted with the application form must be submitted with the application form.

Orthopaedically/Physically handicapped candidates must submit an attested true copy of certificate from the Chief District Medical Officer to the effect that the handicap is a major one deserving special consideration.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED /ENCLOSED WITH APPLICATION FORMS :

The following documents duly attested are to be attached /enclosed along with the application form for admission. The attested true copies such certificates & mark sheets must have been signed by the applicant himself.

  • Attested copies of mark sheet of the qualifying Examination.

  • Money receipt for application form in original.

  • One passport size colour photograph duly attested by a Gazette Officer on the back side.

  • Attested copies of Caste Certificate in case of ST/SC issued by competent authority.

  • Attested copies of C.L.C./S.L.C.

  • One Self Address envelop with postal of Rs. 6/-(25 CM x 10 CM SIZE)

  • Postal stamp of Rs. 6/- on the Index Card.

IMPORTANT:


ALL ATTESTED COPIES OF CERTIFICATE AND MARK SHEET MUST BEAR THE FULL SIGNATURE OF APPLICANT. IN NO CASE APPLICATION FORMS SHALL BE ACCEPTED BY COURSE OR BY HAND OR BY ORDINARY POST.


Reservation of seats and weightage for admission:


Seats for SC/ST Students are available from the Reserved quota viz 8% and 12% respectively provided an attested copy of the certificate from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahasildar of the area is attached to the application.


Reservation of seats is made for the children Ex-Service man to claim such facility; certificate issued by the Zilla Sainik Board is to be attached with the application.

1% of the seats shall be reserved for the children of Serving Defence Personnel.


Reservation of 3% (There percent) seats will be giver to candidates orthopaediaclly/Physically handicapped (Deaf/Dump/Bind). A certificate from the chief District medical Officer of the district is to be submitted.


Weigtage for Admission:


A students representing the University or the School at the Inter University or Inter state Level will get 5% (Five percent) weightage provided that the sports events are recognized by the Director of Sports/University/C.H.S.E./B.S.E. Odisa and all the sports. The certificate must be countersigned by the Director of Sports. The students must have participate in the competitions within 2 years from the data of applying for admission. A student representing the country at the international level of sports activities will get admission straight.


A woman's candidate desirous of taking admission into a college with a subject (a) which is/are not offered in the local Woman's college shall have 5% (five percent) weightage over the aggregate obtained by her in the last qualifying examination provided.


The candidate given such weightage will not be allowed to change the subject (s) subsequently.


Class will have an extra weightage of 5% (Five percent) of mark over and above the aggregate obtained by him/her at the last qualifying examination.


In all total weightages given to an applicant will not exceed 10% (Ten percent) of marks.

ADMISSION ON TRANSFER


The admission will be completed prior to the permission to the University
 

FEES PRESCRIBED FOR UNIVERSITY :

  • Registration of Matriculate Rs. 110.00

  • Enrollment fee Rs. 26.00

  • Matriculate of Other Board Rs. 25.00

  • University sports fee Rs. 25.00

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION :

  • Intimation letter in Original.

  • H.S.C. Certificate in Original.

  • Students attendance is compulsory at the time of admission.

  • CLC/CONDUCT Certificate in Original.

  • Caste Certificate (for SC/ST applicant

  • There Passport size colour photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer on the back side.

  • Migration Certificate in Original for applicant of Other Board.

N.B. :- Incomplete application in any manner shall be rejected.

DECISION FOR ADMISSION :

Admission to the college can not be claimed as a matter of right. The decision shall be made by the Principal of satisfied with the conduct of the applicant and information Governing Body & Principal decision with regard to anything not covered in this admission information Brochure. Prospectus or with regard to any dispute arising out of the interpretation of any clause or classes is final.

 

PROCEDURE FOR TAKING ADMISSION:

The selected candidates shall be intimated by REGD. POST for taking admission. The following documents must be required for taking admission.


1. School/College leaving certificate of the institution last attended in original.
2) Mark sheet of the last qualifying examination in original.
3) Latest caste Certificate in case of SC/st in original.
4) Certificate from Chief District medical Officer in case of physically handicapped in original.
5) Identity Card.
6) Intimation letter in original.
7) One self-addressed unstamped envelop of 22.x10 cms size.
8) Conduct Certificate in original.
9) Four recent passport size photographs duly signed by the applicant on front & attested by a gazetted officer.
10) In addition to these documents the admission fee (the amount shall be intimated to the student along with the intimation letter) will be deposited in the office concerned at the time of admission. Honours Admission: Students securing 40% marks in aggregate and in the concerned subject are eligible for applying for honours subjects.


Application for admission received after the due data will be considered as late application and such will be considered for admission after all application received in due time are exhausted. Forfeiture of claim for admission: If a selected candidate fails to get himself/herself admitted on the specified data he/she will forfeit claim for admission.
